Start with where the door hangs. Main doors need weight and security — solid-core flush doors or full timber. Bedroom doors can be lighter flush or membrane doors; for bathrooms, insist on a BWP-grade flush door, or the bottom edge swells within a year. Membrane and skin doors give designer looks at a mid price; laminate-finished flush doors are the most durable everyday choice.

Measure the actual frame opening, not the old door — we supply standard and custom sizes. And match the frame to the door; saving on one undoes the other.
